1) Please introduce yourself to our audience by looking back at your education, training, and career path.
My name is Emanuele Scudiero, and I am currently located in our office in Cambridge, MA, serving as an Executive Consultant and Service Manager with a focus on CSV Quality Assurance. I studied International Relations and Economy at the University of Genova, Italy. I began my career in Prague, Czech Republic, where I worked at Accenture as a Network Specialist and later at Novartis as an IT Quality Manager. Over the years, I have specialized in Information System Audits, Computer System Validation, Data Integrity, and Advanced Technology Implementation, particularly focusing on cloud-based solutions, RPA and AI solutions. My career path has been dedicated to ensuring quality and fostering innovation within the pharmaceutical sector.
2) Can you share more about your specific role at the company? What are your main goals in this role, and what’s your favorite part about your job?
In most of my projects with clients, my main responsibilities involve ensuring that the digital systems and processes adhere to strict quality and compliance standards. My primary goals are to maintain high levels of data integrity, ensure regulatory compliance, and continuously improve their quality management systems. My favorite part about my job is the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams across the organization and leverage cutting-edge technologies to enhance the compliance frameworks.

In my opinion, to be successful in today’s life science-focused consulting roles, the top skills needed include technical expertise, analytical skills, adaptability and emotional intelligence.

The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is to “never stop learning.” In the rapidly evolving field of digital quality and compliance, staying curious and continuously seeking new knowledge is essential to maintaining expertise and providing the best possible service to clients.
