BioLabs for Advanced Therapeutics and Thermo Fisher Present: 3rd Annual BioLabs Investor Day Philadelphia – the region’s top venue showcasing life science startups to local and out-of-market investors and pharma
Philadelphia, April 15 – Under its new name: BioLabs for Advanced Therapeutics Philadelphia, the Philly life science incubator will host its 3rd Annual BioLabs Investor Day on Tuesday April 22nd at The Curtis, the former publishing giant turned life science hub. The all-day pitchfest features a curated selection of rapid-fire pitches by top life science startups to major pharma and biotech VCs from along the northeast corridor and beyond.
This year’s event will feature 18 startups (up from 15 in previous years) who were selected to pitch from a pool of over 60 applicants. Additional startups have also been invited to participate in an invite-only afternoon poster session, providing even more opportunities to connect startups with investors, event partners, and industry leaders whose mission is to invest in and grow Philly’s exemplary life science community. Another new addition to this year’s program includes a patient spotlight, led by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Along with event partners, BioLabs has curated a now-annual invite-only event that convenes pivotal players in Philly’s life science ecosystem under one historic roof in Center City Philadelphia: Biospace at The Curtis.
The agenda includes:
- 18, 5-minute pitches by life science startups in various stages of development
- 4 networking breaks
- 1 panel session, “Surviving the Startup Roller Coaster” co-organized by BioStrategy Partners
